Isekai Snowboards was founded by Austin Savarino, a lifelong anime enthusiast and passionate snowboarder. His love for anime began in the 1990s, waking up early on Sundays to watch Dragon Ball Z with his older brother—despite their mother’s belief that it was “too violent.” What started as simple Saturday morning cartoons soon evolved into a deep appreciation for anime, fueled by after-dinner Toonami sessions featuring Dragon Ball Z, Gundam, Zoids, and Yu Yu Hakusho. However, it was Naruto and One Piece that truly solidified his passion, transforming him into a dedicated Otaku.

 

Over the next 25+ years, Austin immersed himself in anime at every opportunity. At the same time, another passion was taking shape—snowboarding. From carving down local hills on a tie-dye plastic board as a child to advancing into professional gear, ski club trips, and a lifelong commitment to the sport, the mountains became his second home.

As anime grew from a niche interest to a global phenomenon, it began influencing streetwear, skateboards, and even luxury fashion. Yet, something was missing—anime-inspired snowboards. Recognizing this gap, Austin set out to create high-quality boards that allow fellow Otaku to showcase their passion for anime on the slopes.

Thus, Isekai Snowboards was born. Inspired by the concept of being transported to another world, the brand brings iconic anime characters to life on the mountain, seamlessly blending anime culture with snowboarding. Whether carving through fresh powder or hitting the terrain park, Isekai Snowboards is here to unite anime fans on the slopes.
